Venessa MaGuire: Narrogin, WA
Venessa is a Noongar woman from Narrogin and has ties throughout the Great Southern region of Western Australia. She is a mother of 6 and has 11 grandchildren. Venessa currently works with the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program at the South West Aboriginal Medical Services based locally in Narrogin. She completed her Certificate IV Mental Health Training at Marr Mooditj Training in 2011 and is keen to be part of the National Empowerment Project.
Darin Turvey: Narrogin, WA
Raised in Pingelly, Darin currently lives and works in Narrogin as an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker for the Great Southern Mental Health Service. He has also worked previously for the South West Aboriginal Medical Services.Darin has worked in various positions in education and employment and as a shearer in his youth.
