Terry Brennan: Mildura, VIC
Originally from Moree in New South Wales, Terry lives and works in Mildura. He is a Kamilaroi man and has one son who is 21. Terry works as a Drug and Alcohol Worker with the Mildura Aboriginal Corporation and he works mostly with young men to support them to become young men/leaders within the local community.
Indi Clarke: Mildura, Vic
Indi Clarke is a proud 23-year-old Muthi Muthi and Lardil man, currently employed with Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) in Mildura as a Youth and Community Engagement Facilitator. Within his role, he works on a range of MDAS projects including the MDAS Cultural Program, Mentor Program, the Volunteer Program and also on specialist events. Indi lives in Mildura and has been there on and off all of his life but was originally born in Melbourne. He has great pride and passion in his role at MDAS and loves contributing to the community through MDAS and through various committees. Indi is and has always been passionate about his culture and believes that awareness and education surrounding culture is vital. Indi is a big believer in education and believes education and communication is the key to strong communities. In his spare time you will fine Indi doing something that relates to sports or enjoying the company of friends and family. Achievements and highlights of his life and career so far, include participating in the Indigenous performance of the 2006 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, participant of the 2009 Kokoda Youth Mentoring Program, Koorie Youth Council Member and awarded the 2016 Mildura Young Citizen of the Year as part of the Mildura Australia Day awards.
Andy Charles: Mildura, VIC
Andy Charles currently works at the Mallee District Aboriginal Service as Co-ordinator of Prevention and Early Interview Aboriginal Stronger Families, Family Preservation and Reunification, Integrated Family Services and Koori Emerging Leaders Programs. Andy is a Yorta Yorta man and is married with two children. He likes playing the guitar, listening to music and restoring old cars.
